These colors are only general guidelines. There is an infinite number of energy possibilities in an aura, many different colors and combination or shadings of color. When you seek to interpret these energies, be guided by your intuition rather than any textbook definition.
Pat sees these bands of energy around you. The position of each energy level (color) in the aura or body is significant. For example: Red in the power chakra may indicate stress associated with work. whereas Red in the heart chakra may indicate pain or heartbreak. Yellow in the power chakra may suggest analyzing related to planning ahead or strategy, whereas Yellow in the heart chakra may indicate caution or over-analyzing in relationship or emotional issues. BLACK - Stopped or blocked energy. There is no true black energy, but illness or spiritual blocks may slow the free flow of energy to the point where it appears black.
BROWN - A strong connection to the earth can produce a color somewhere between brown, rust, or tan. Very rare, only seen in people who spend a great deal of time in the wilderness or in natural surroundings, away from others.
GREEN - Growth, change, readjustment. Often defined as a healing energy, this is actually an energy that reflects the aftermath or results of healing. Can indicate flexibility, adaptability, recovery from illness, or any shift in basic priorities.
DARK BLUE - A form of shielding energy that deflects attention. I sometimes call it hiding or a chameleon like energy that allows one to blend into the surroundings. Seen in the aura, it can indicate self-consciousness, shyness, or highly developed survival instincts.
LIGHT BLUE - Tranquility, peacefulness of mind. Reflects calmness and an ability to project calmness to others.
PILOT LIGHT BLUE - A deflection shield. This energy helps to shrug off outside energies or emotions. It is present in the first band of the aura (next to the skin) of most healthy people.
TURQUOISE - Amusement, neutrality. Reflects an ability to adjust one's perspective to absorb more information in new situations.
DARK RED - Suppressed anger or pain. Can reflect psychological or emotional impairment.
RED - Can be a reflection of physical pain, stress, frustration, or restlessness.
CLEAR RED - Vitality. Can be a reflection of robust good health and high energy.
ORANGE - A basic healing energy. Helps to restore and balance energy flow. Indicative of rebuilding or regenerating. Can reflect personality traits of quick reaction and rapid readjustment.
YELLOW - A reflection of analysis or mental activity. Can indicate caution, procrastination, strategy, or planning.
YELLOW GREEN - Indicates a transition between a practical, logic-based way of processing information and an intuitive approach. Can be indicative of psychic development. Can indicate a balance between right and left brain functioning.
PINK - Affinity, fondness, openness.
PEACH - Reflects an ability to comfort and reassure others.
GOLD - Free flowing energy. A high, light, healing radiance. Flowingness, forgiveness, letting go, tolerance. It has been called Christ Force by some schools of healing.
SILVER - Power. Externalized energy to create outside effects. Challenge. It can be a reflection of telekinetic energy.
PURPLE - Stored information. Memory banks. Can reflect dogmatic beliefs, tradition, old programming.
VIOLET - A reflection of active spiritual seeking. Indicates a sorting of old information.
LAVENDER - A reflection of spiritual belief or philosophy that has been well sorted through. Someone who is at peace with their idea of God will have lavender in the outermost band of the aura.
WHITE - A very high-frequency energy usually associated with protection. Can provide shielding. Can also indicate someone who has frequent out-of-body experiences. Also can indicate someone who frequently repeats a mantra or affirmation. Lastly, it can indicate the presence of protective energy or prayer created by others on the individual's behalf.
